Bachelor's: 6 Years, Master's: 2 Years, Ph.D: 5 Years

​The Romanian Government Scholarship is a program offered by Romania’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs to support international students from non-European Union countries in pursuing undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral studies at accredited Romanian universities. Unique to this scholarship, undergraduate and master’s programs are conducted exclusively in Romanian, with a preparatory language year provided for those not proficient in the language. Doctoral candidates have the option to study in Romanian or another language, depending on the program. This initiative aims to promote the Romanian language and culture while establishing educational cooperation with non-EU nations.

To begin your application for Romanian Government Scholarship, you'll need to prepare and submit the following documents:

• Copies of all diplomas (high school, bachelor’s, master’s, PhD if any) + official translation
• Copies of academic transcripts + official translation
• Birth Certificate (Copy + official translation)
• Passport or ID (Copy of first 3 pages + official translation of the passport)
• CV in English or French
• Letter of intent with a list of academic works/publications, research project description, and an agreement from a doctoral tutor for PhD applicants
• Parental consent: notarized declaration + translation (if under 18 at course start)
